    Hello to everyone!

    This is my first post!

My name is Antonino, I'm 36 and I'm on the 1st year of a Diploma of Horticulture (Nursery) here in Melbourne.
The Diploma also includes Certificate III.

I'm very interested in Permaculture and Native Flora.

Is there a group that I can join in Melbourne?

The course I'm doing is nice but unfortunately does not include many sustainable practices.

So I have to do some extra studies by myself.

I'm looking after courses and seminars on Permaculture.

Can you please suggest me something?

I'm a kind of person who prefer to be hands-on rather than reading on books.

Is also here some Permaculture Nurseries that I can work at for a couple of days a week?

    Thanks for your help!!!

    Antonino

Hi Antonio, nice to see you drop by this forum! We talk on the SGA one too! You r in Melbourne still, yes? There are a few places to contact for doing a PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate)& information.
    *CERES
*Edendale Farm (course alredy commenced but may have info)
    *Permaculture Melbourne
*Mount Dandenong Permaculture (or something like that)
*Holmgren Design Services (Lucky me, I'm visiting his place on a garden tour this Sunday! This info also available on his website)
Should be able to find these by phone book or web-sites.

Isn't the 'Avatar a clue? :) I've been on this forum for years under a few different names, only because I stopped posting for a while, forgot my password & so had to choose another name! I tried the option to get help from the forum to log on again under my old names but I got no reply so I did the easiest thing & used a new name! Permaculture is truly where my heart lies & Sustainable Gardening Australia runs along thoses lines but also encompasses other sustainable gardening practices. The advice you got here on this forum about the tomatoes is excellent, I totally agree.

    I'm glad u found this forum, :D
