Farm Manager Assistant wanted for Permaculture Project on Paradies Island Palawan

We are looking for a motivated person or a couple to help out managing the newly establishing Permaculture Project on Paradies Island Palawan.We looking for self motivated PDC graduates who are looking to bring their Permaculture experience and practice to the next level through working hands on with an experience Team to be part of the pioneer phase of an newly establishing Permaculture site and Agro Tourism Project.

The role includes vegetarian food and simple accommodation in exchange as well as the possibility to assist with organize courses on the land on a profit share basis.

Tasks and Projects while on site include:

• Siting and Hand building small swales, boomerangs, and other small harvesting structures
• Planting Guilds
• Working to establish a Forest Garden
• Annual and Perennial Garden Design and Implementation
• Designing and Creating a Nursery
• Irrigation design and installation
• Chicken and Duck coops and system
• IMO’s, Vermicompost, and Compost tea
• Pond siting and design
• Forest Management
• Tierra Libre Ecotopia Permaculture Farm Infrastructure development
• Bee forage area design and implementation
• Silvopasture System for Pigs and Chicken Design and start of Implementation
• Design and Establishment of Multi functional Hedgerows and Living Fence
• Establishment of Agroforestry Systems
• Pizza Oven and Outdoor Kitchen Construction
• Local Native Bee Hives
• Help organize and facilitated Introduction Course
• Build simple Bamboo Infrastructure like small huts for eco tourism accommodation
• Compost Toilet and Outdoor shower establishment

The minimum commitment is 6month after a first initial 1 month trial period. 6 days a week 6 hours a day work commitment.Starting from November 2019 onwards !
