Hi guys, I've heard you can treat wood with Linseed oil to protect it from the elements. How effective is this and is there another non-toxic method of treating wood?
a wood man told me mix 20% natural gum mineral turps. it goes on better. we are going to do our jarrah 1930 house in summer so it dries better. my mother in law clean and protected her very old unlooked aftered ( is that a word?????) cupboards and table ect with it. they are over 150 years at least and they came up like at dream. it really sinks in..
