    Dear friends,
a friend of mine have a large Eucalyptus Melliodora that seems to be dying as foliage are turning brown.
She said that recently they had drainage pipes laid nearby and maybe some damage was done to its root system.
Does anyone know anything about Eucalyptus Melliodora and have any advices?
Personally I think that If the main roots have been badly damaged and the tree is not strong enough to manage the stress then it can be likely the plant will die.
I guess for an eucalyptus to have foliage turning brown is not a good sign. That means the plant is stressing out a lot and not getting its nutrients.
i've already sked her if the tree is alone or he lives in a community.
    Love,
    Antonino

My experience with euc's is a few less roots will not kill the tree. If it otherwise young and healthy it will recover.
