EIGHT St George schools received grants for their outstanding environmental projects.
More than $15,000 was up for grabs in the community category of Kogarah Council's "mayor's green grants" program.

It rewarded schools that initiated excellent student-based projects, which will start in February.

Woniora Road School received $2480 for its sustainable organic environmental garden helping to develop students' sensory skills.

Oatley Public School was given $3000 for its permaculture garden, which teaches children how to grow food.https://www.theleader.com.au/news/l...rants-give-schools-a-green-tinge/2402963.aspx
