Hoping someone can help? I have an outside Donkey Boiler constructed of two kegs which works great.
I want to transfer hot water from the boiler to an outside bath & I am wondering if anyone knows what sort of hose/piping i could use.
The outlet pipe is 38mm, wondering if non percolating hose would work? or is there another hose that would take boiling water? distance would be 2-3 metres.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Mutley,
For boiling water or hot water for that matter you need a rated hose that meets the Australian Standards, these are very expensive but are available from places like Pertik,
    www.pirtek.com.au/HOApps/pirweb.nsf/.../Q/.../Sect+Q+Technical+Data.pdf

You could ask a plumber to supply but he will add his mark up .
A cheaper method is to use copper pipe, insulated pipe would help to keep the heat in the pipe but with a short distance not necessary. Depending on pipe size you will need to reduce down from the outlet pipe. Dont forget to add a ball valve or stocp cock on the outlet pipe.
