    Public presentation by David Holmgren

    Internationally acclaimed author, speaker and co-originator of Permaculture.

    David is an ecological pioneer and author of The Fly wire House: a case study in design against bush fire and Future Scenarios.

    David will focus on his extensive work leading bushfire resilient landscapes and communities policy and practices in Hepburn Shire Victoria.

    Private preparedness and community organisation can be accelerated to

    complement the professional and volunteer fire services in making our

    communities much more resilient in the face of bushfires and other disaster

    threats, both in the coming season, and on into the longer term.
