    I've been wanting to start my own Polyface - Taranaki style RegenAg Farm Demonstration site for years now. About 18 months ago i came across this 200.32ha working farm on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. The size, price and aspect appear perfect.

    I'm putting up the offer for another couple/individual to join in and go halves or thirds as to share the cost and contribute with it's set up and deed title ownership.

    As stands, i could only just afford to buy this Farm but, it would involve a substantial (bank loan). Instead, the direction i'd rather take would be to find a like-minded (individual/couple) that can see the potential that i do, and agree to go halves or even thirds in the aforementioned property and help build up a Demonstration site.

    This sensational 200.32ha (500 acre) piece of land includes:

    * Fully fenced working farm with shearing shed.
    * 17 dams.
    * 2 mins to a spectacular beach.
    * 700mm rainfall year.
    * 3 gullies running through the property

    Land in this particular region (Middle River) of this size, and aspect appears rarely, which makes this opportunity very exciting indeed for someone who can see it's full potential.

    Explained very well here, by the Mulloon Institute: about (how it all works)

    Sounds great but I would never go into this sort of partnership financially. Anything can happen, one month, one year or ten years on unexpectedly. For example if the other couple divorced or separated; if one party died suddenly; if one party had a change of heart? All sorts of difficulties sorting out estates, divorce or separation settlements etc.
    I guess people undertake these sort of arrangements but it scares the heck out of me.

    Sorry just trying to be realistic. I've seen these sort of things go very wrong in a very short space of time and it can happen overnight by sudden illness, car accident whatever. For sure there may be legal structures to take account of future happenings but it is still extremely tricky. It is terribly difficult sorting property issues out with a divorce let alone with other third parties. It's no good thinking it will never happen because it often does. Just saying, think of every scenario that could occur and make sure you have a solution factored in. Good Luck!
