APRIL PERMACULTURE OPEN GARDEN - Sunday, 18 April
Tom and Zaia have a 34 acre block in Kin Kin, consisting mostly of regenerated forest. They purchased the property 4 1/2 years ago, when it was severely overgrown. Major changes have been made since then with the help of permaculture techniques. There are cows, horses, chooks, dogs and a goat on the property, gardens with a number of small and large swales and the beginnings of a foodforest / orchard. Water is caught and used on the property, the toilet and shower are outdoors and grey water and other waste is re-used on the property. There is much, much more to find out about...
so please come and check out their property at the Permaculture Open Garden on Sunday 18 April. Further information is available in PermaNews.
If you have always wanted to do a PDC with Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton, see PermaNews or the website for further details about this chance of a lifetime."
