Does anyone have experience treating bumblefoot in ducks - or chooks? I wonder if we should apply anything topical? What about including comfrey, turmeric, and other herbs in the diet? Thanks!

If you go to forum.backyardpoultry.com/, then to the info centre, then to the health subsection, there are a number of posts on bumblefoot and it's treatment. You can Search for it even if not a member. Basically you clean the foot, open the wound, dribble in some hydrogen peroxide, then top dress with betadine and bandage well. Not hard to do but follow their instructions, they have a wealth of knowledge there.
