Hey Folks glad to be up on the Permaculture community forum,

    Levity Gardens
An experimental communal Garden, located 2km from Nimbin in a Jarlanbah a Permaculture Hamlet. In the Past year we have been focusing on improving the energy and activity in our soil, we and our community are now starting to benifit from the results with some tasty produce and poultry eggs filtering out to our stall at the Nimbin markets on wed. We are always looking for volunteers to come play in the garden with us and experiment and partake in a combination of ancient and modern farming technology. we have a couple of caravans and camping available Contact us @ [email protected] and www.facebook.com/ Levity Gardens.
Work shops- we also hold workshops regularly in collaboration with friends who have cool knowledge to spread.
some of our workshops include, soil building ( compost , Bokashi other techniques). Mycology (mushroom propagation), fermentation, earth building and easy gardening techniques and so on. we also hold working bees and Tuesdays are community work days.

    Foods That Heal

The focus currently and for the past 3 years has brought attention to traditional food techniques and proliferating the knowledge of fermentation around the northern rivers. A humble stall at the Mullumbimby farmesmarket has been the forefront, serving and educating an arrray of traditional food products, along with fullday workshops through out the region providing solutions to improve human gut health . The future holds a further exploration and education of how to prepare nutrient dense traditional foods, from making ghee to soaking seeds and grains, fermented foods and beverages as well as finding ways to reconnect humanity with real food and its source.
workshops are often happening around the northern rivers keep your eye out on Foods That Heal facebook page, and to contact us, [email protected]

we lookfoward to Conecting with the broader permaculture community
