Garlic Over the years we have tested Glenlarge, Morotop and Printanor, plus countless other varieties. We found that the Printanor was the all round best tasting, best yielding and most hardy, not to mention most attractive (subjective) of all the varieties, hence this is now what we concentrate on. The Morotop struggled with the floods but the Printanor stood true and strong as it always does regardless of extreme cold, heat, dry or wet. Perhaps this simply is due to our particular climate, who knows...... Hope this helps. Naomi Darling Downs Garlic
info We just used the internet and lots of book. Gatton Ag college might be a good one to try as they developed the GlenLarge for QLD conditions. Thanks
Garlic Hi Naomi, Have you still got garlic for sale? I'm after 1kg. If so how much is full cost including postage to QLD 4211. Cheers, John
Aust Garlic Hi John, I'm sorry to say we have sold out this season. Next harvest is in November / December I will be sure to let everyone know as soon as it is ready. Many Thanks Naomi Darling Downs Garlic.
Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement when it happens. I bought a kg from Naomi some months ago. Some if it got planted, and every single one has taken off. The rest is being eaten and it's really fresh. Makes me realize just how bad the stuff from the supermarket actually is.
I planted a fair bit of Naomi's garlic Speedy and can send you some when we harvest it. It is good looking garlic for sure.
Thanks so much for the great feedback. We take a lot of pride in our product and enjoy hearing others enjoy it. Many Thanks Naomi
New Season Garlic 2011 Hi Naomi, Can you please let me know if you have any new season garlic and how much a kilo? Thanks Jan
