Those are a couple of mighty fine looking swales there, Ludi!

    Ludi,

How are the swales, etc., going? I was referred to this thread b/c I'm up in the Dallas area looking for examples, help with ideas, etc. Although, I visited the website Marcos suggested and ha! "Due to the Federal government shutdown, usgs.gov and most associated web sites are unavailable." Why they shut down websites I have no idea, but it'll be a bit before I can create a beautiful contour map like yours - that is great! Did you get it from the site noted in this thread?

Anyway - nice to "meet" you and look forward to some updated pics and notes. Keep it coming - we all learn from each other! I'm working with a local teacher to host some low cost PDC here with a group of about 35 students soon. I can't wait!
