I have been collecting trampolines from roadside rubbish piles etc. I use them to cool the ground abouve bigger worm farms and also I can extend the legs with steel posts and make either a shade area with the trampoline mat intact, or remove them, run wires and I have an arbour ready to use.
I hope somebody finds this handy.

Great idea! I'm planning to use our trampoline (which is used by our children) to grow small plants/seedlings in pots, which need shade, since there is so little shade on our property so far.

We've got a kids trampoline. Some people here use it as a cool place to take a nap in the middle of the day. When its not in use, we tip it on its side so it doesn't collect leaves and puddles.

I passed a country home that had just the round frame of a large trampoline set upright with (probably) two metal poles in the ground on either side, and they had stretched string from top to bottom and side to side to form an open mesh, and had peas or beans climbing up the strings. It looked great!

I seen an article where a fellow used a trampoline to collect rain water in a field for his animals because it was very far for them to walk to the stream. A very good idea I think.
