FYI... I went to one, and it was fantastic ! Building the A-Frame yourself, surveying and doing the actual leveling definitely helps get you head around the entire process. Thanks Tamara !
A-frames Hi Tamara! Just wondering if you could post basic instructions for building an A-frame. I know they're fairly simple, but my brain is not computing....... Thanks, Zoe
Hi! start with 2 broom handles and another piece about half their size. On the long pieces, find the middle and make a mark with a texta. On the short piece, measure halfway and also mark. Make a triange with the pieces. Lash the two long pieces together at the peak of the triange. Take the short piece and place it on the longer pieces (where you made the half way mark) so it makes an "A". Lash the third piece on. Attach a piece of string with a weight (I use a hammer) from the triangle peak so it hangs past the cross piece. When the a frame is flat, the sting sits at the halfway mark you made earlier. You are now ready to go. I hope this makes sense...love T
