Hey, Murray! I just throw ideas out there -- nothing says you have to use them! You do what you think best. If you're uncomfortable breaking it down, don't do it. Personally, I like it like it is, but that's just me. It's easy enough to look through what interests me. Sue
There's allot to be said for keeping just one forum for all the perm' posts. In addittion to not watering down participation, it's kept me from just watching/taking part in my favorite areas, which is saying the same thing I guess. I hadn't even begun to think about the waste/water management design issues or realize how integral to P'C' they are until I had watched the main forum for a week or so. If the forum had been broken down I'd never have gotten out of the structure and land design areas. As long as the search feature works reasonably well and there's not dozens and dozens of posts a day in the main forum making it hard to follow- what other reasons are there for splitting the forum? I'll be happy either way, thanks for your work.
yea dude i'd have to agree with you. i think i'll leave everybody having fun in the single PC forum until it starts moving too quick for people's liking. thanks for the input! :rr:
hi miss vitalis we have plenty pictures of composting happening here in the permaculture photo gallery. you can easily do a search of the forum to find past threads.. and if what you're looking for isn't there, simply start your own new thread in the main forum. i'm sure there are *lots* of people who'd like to have a crack at answering whatever questions you may have. as for a subforum, i'm just not sure what added value splitting things off into subforums is going to have! m.
I have just found the site and the forum - how fantastic. I will be watching every day whilst at work.
Re: this site is booming! i can't believe that so many people are still using windows! ha ha ha... i've happily switched to mac 3 years ago. ;-) anyway, very happy that the site is blooming, great!!!
