I honestly didn't know if i should post these here but i thought the lush spring would be inspirational to see.

My family and i went to a place called Buttermilk Falls near our place to take the boys for a hike and KNOW what is here in our neighbourhood...... we are just getting to know the place...... and the best way to connect to our place is to experience it first hand.........

so heres some of what we saw on our memorial day weekend outing.........

yes indeed its about half an hour away........

:) its a blessedly beautiful place........ i revel in the lushness of the natural vegetation here and the geography and the HISTORY...........

MY ABSOLUTE PET PEEVE IS APATHY. . . a helpless hopeless attitude really frustrates me......i dont understand it and i honestly have no patience for it......i am working on that...... ha ha but it really abounds around here it seems..........

thanks for looking! Hey chris cool site!

You're so fortunate to be near to these magical places, your photographs are wonderful. :)

I live in a beautiful green and wooded area with no rocks or big rivers. I'm Scottish, so I miss the surging water and the huge mass of rocks with life, like your strawberry, just hanging on in there.

I can totally identify with what you say about the apathy, it's almost as though people have forgotten how to restore their power with the natural beauty around them.
