Hi everybody. I'm Javier, from Ecuador, South America. Here we are a little disconnected from the worlds's new toys and gadgets (not that we lament that a lot...) So, I've heard about someone using some kind of software to produce quick well-draw site designs... can anyone enlight me on what this modernity is, how good it is, names of products, etc?

Thank you, and sorry if my english is kinda weird.

    Hello,

I use MapInfo Professional (GIS) and Microsoft Excel for all of my design work (mostly broadacre). I have also trialled AutoCad and AutoCad LandDesktop and whilst they are fantastically capable are way over the top and generally great for wasting time on the anal retention of unnecessary detail. Better to cut to the chase and save the detail for the on ground works.
