just a quick note to say "see ya later" guys.

looks like i'm about to be replaced as webmaster for PRI for a number of reasons, none of which make sense to me. it seems to me that the movement could use more passionate people in its ranks instead of less, but whatever.

so, take care of yourselves and each other, remember to eat your veggies and i'm sure i'll see you down the road somewhere.

    murray :)

I for one will be sad to see you go Murray...this is a real shock, I guess there's not going to be any discussion about it?

I think you've always done your best for us and the forum and I would like to thank you for your time and effort. You always looked for input from others rather than being dictatorial in running the site, and I think you've done a good job...I can't really see how anyone could do much better really.

Best of luck in the future mate.

so they asked you to pack up your google ads and go did they? :)
i didn't really mind them, the links were relevant to the site so..
oh well, i guess once the knife wounds have healed, you'll be still going strong with your other web interests.

    anyways, catch ya!

    Murray,

    I am very shocked.

From a user end I cannot see a valid reason.

So Murray, is that you that is still deleting the spam? I see tonight that half of the subject areas have been dealt with...
Can you tell us what has happened? Can you tell us the reasons why you've been given the boot? Who is going to run things, if not you?
Hopefully it is not a huge blow for you in terms of income or whatever.

    hi richard,

maybe i should clarify. i'm no longer the PRI webmaster for the https://www.permaculture.org.au site... but happily, i have been asked to stay on as moderator of this forum and to continue hosting the site for the PRI.

it looks as though they're bringing on someone else (a member of this forum actually) to replace the site i've built over the years with something new. i guess this is it? https://www.permaculture.org.au/pri/ (i stumbled onto it accidentally while cleaning up one day...)

as for the reasons why this has happened... well i have only been given "non" reasons so far. nothing that makes sense. and after 6 years working with those guys, this is the thing that makes me the saddest.

    cheerz

As an occasional poster and a rather regualr reader I have long appreciated the work you do on this site.
I dont know who you are or what you do in real life,
but your presence here in cyberspace has been hugely beneficial.
Change can be good - but not if it is just change for change sake.

I am glad you will keep moderatin gthis site - but reading between the lines - that might not be enough for you?

I wish you all the best.

Well I hope that they wont kick me off the board because I dont use punctuation correctly. Maybe I wont fit the new image. :)

Did you start the board from scratch Murray? was it a voluntary occupation?

Maybe you or someone would be interested in helping me start a small forum just for Kyogle , with the aim of spreading information, networking and generally working towards a positive change in the world starting from grassroots.
