    chilli sauce???

Hi , It's frustrating isn't it trying to find recipes for stuff that's in everyone's cupboard but can't be found as a recipe anywhere. I got sick of looking. Found that on the internet the closest I could come to was a recipe that included as an ingredient " chilli sauce"!!
I ended up making my own and just made up the recipe. I used haberenos (the best), mine were orange and some still green. I simply put them in the food processor, added garlic and then put them in the frypan with apple cider vinegar and added sugar. It was magnificent but only to my liking. My family thought it was way too hot. So I added tomatoes ( stewed and then seived to remove the skins). It was fantastic. I froze some tomatoes so I could make sauce later. Hope this helps a bit. I didn't keep track of any of the amounts, I didn't measure anything. Just a bit of this, a bit of that and a sploosh of vinegar! Good luck, Marie

g'day there, yes we blend too with lemons and garlic.
but to make sweet sauce like the bottle is not easy.
stuff them with cheese and grill them with oil too.

you can make really great chilli sauce using Apples and chillies.

Boil down your aples as you would to make apple sauce, add chilli to taste. less chilli = Sweet chilli sauce, more chilli =- bloody hot :)

You can also add a little garlic and things for taste :)

cut your chillis right up, so they are good to go, or either dry them and then use a mortar and pestal and give them a hiding, before adding to apple.

You can be quite inventive with such sauce recipes. Many different fruits can be boiled up with a pot of chillies, depending on whats available at the time; apples, plums, capsicums, vinegar, limes or lemons and tomatoes are a few of the most popular. Add salt and sugar to taste and water for consistency.
A google search with the words "pepper sauce recipes" or "chilli sauce recipes" yeilds a heap of results. heres links to a few different ones.

I take 2 cups of red birds eye chillis, chop then smash skin and seeds up, tip into 3lt of boiling water, grate 1/5 of a block of sunlight soap, and a couple of table spoons of any white oil you have, mix all into bowl and let sit for a few hours, stain the mix then stain then stain then stain, keep in old milk bottles and use 1:10 water and spray onto everything, citrus love it, bugs don't.

Mix can also be served with tacos, has slight burning taste on the tongue. ;-)

I did, I did, I added my gardening chilli sauce recipe, best pest spray I know of. it's above the joke post. :)

I have been banned from adding chillis to food in our house, might be better if I grow a more mild chilli.
