You can come as a volunteer to help recycling our old farm building - it is a thought work - you can stand your wo(man)! Working in the edible food forest, making jam and fruitleather, drying herbs, working in the vegegarden, ...

We prefer cooking vegan and organic! Most time it is getting nearly community life. Stay for a minimum of two weeks, that longer you will stay, that better! During vegetation season we cannot accept dogs (no dogs in the house in general), because we eat our meadow!

Our syntropic forest garden is situated at the countryside of Wels, the 8th biggest town of Austria. Our Forest garden was started on our Family-Farm in 1992 by Hans, based on the principles of Permaculture, specialy influenced by the ideas of Robert Hard. Our total land contains 3 ha: our more than 20 years old forest garden on 4.500 m2, an Walnut-Agroforest on 4.000 m2, madows, ochards, forest and a new established forest garden with Chinampas (600 m2 watersurface) on 5.700 m2.

We do have one building with Seminarroom, Room with bunkbeds and kitchen, there is also our old farmbuilding wich will be removed through a new Strabelbuilding.

We do have a segmented chickenrun with Chicken heated Greenhous, Greenhouse, Wormfarm, Solardryer, fireplace where we do terra preta, log roundhouse with mandala roof, ...

We are teaching people in Permaculture since 2007, in 2009 we were conducting the first training for transition in german language in Austria, we are getting occasionally vistitors from all over the world, we are also working together with smallscale farmers in developing countries. We have had Workawayers and volunteers several times. In Summer 2019 (from the 12th to the 24th of August) we do teach our next Permaculture Design Certifikate Course!

For couples and familys it could be difficult because we do have limited space, for our volunteers we do have a big room with bunkbeds. From our volunteers we do expect a minimum of 5 hours work per day and a minimum stay of two weeks.

Guided tours through the edible foodforest we do have at our Forest-Garden-Festival from the 8th to the 10th of June 2019. For single tourse you have to book a consultation.
