    It'll happen eventually. Even the tobacco companies succumbed to the law.

    I wondered when I heared that BAYER has intention to take over Monsanto.

    Now It reminds me to Lehman, when Americans sold Lehman products to the world and then they crashed the Bank.
    When they`ve sold Monsanto overseas then a court can easily condemn them.

    Btw. As far as I know, they made big court proceedings in the US against tobacco companies, but in the end the fine colaped close to nothing.

    While that was probably true, it still started the erosion of their power base as more people came to realize what was going on. It pretty much boils down to bad publicity and public opinion.
