Hello all, Dryads here. I am a gardening newbie (one year into this hobby soon, yay!) and this spring I'm looking to set up some training grounds in forest gardening on my grandmothers land. It will be a temporary garden seeing as I don't think I'll want to take over that farm when she moves, because the location just doesn't suit me very well. But my ultimate goal is self-sustainability with food, water and electricity, and it's going to be a long journey learning everything I need to know for the day I do own my own land. Why sit around holding my breath, you know? I hope to see you all around the forum. Pleasure meeting you all!
howdy and welcome. oh how well i know what it is to be working on someone else's place! it can be rewarding in its own ways but some day it might also be my own too, so i have a lot of interesting internal conflicts at times. this, though is true, often after a night's sleep the conflicts are gone or smaller. that is, time gives perspective...
Worthy goals Dryadsrest and your work at your grandmother's place may end up being more than temporary!
Hej från en annan svensk! Om du vill diskutera permakultur för kallare klimat är jag all in. Bor just nu i södra Tyskland och här slåss vi också med snö och frost på vintrarna.
