    Hi ,

we live in Indonesia in Bali,
we start a natural sustainable place on 3 hectares land one year ago
in the mountains at 1100 m high,
hot day 25 to 30 degrees and fresh nights 13 to 15 degrees

We have a five to six months of rainy season and even dry season there are lot of humid early morning but day time is very dry.

we have a lot of bamboo (clumping) , guava, indian coral tees ,
few avocado, citrus, coffee, on the land.( before we came here)

but there are lot of like moulding leaves , black spot , every tree not looks healthy.
Before we came elephant grass was overgrowing everywhere,
we just clear half of the land from it...

Around our area everybody grows Citrus orange because it is cash crops, and they use pesticide fungicide...
before we come here local people cut most of the trees for construction and fire.
We start some reforestation and plant more trees ,plus make some gardens to grow vegetables but same problem begins to occurs,
    not really healthy...

can you help us to find a solution please,
    thanks.

    Xavier & Soyoko

Soil testing may a bit tough for you, I assume?

A lack of organic matter in the soil? Can you use green manure or pioneer crops to build fertility in your beds before planting? Seaweed, rockdust might bring in some minerals that you are missing.

https://www.mmrfbz.org/ - https://www.facebook.com/MayaMountainResearchFarm - these guys were on a flogged out farm in South America which may be a similar climate analogue to you. Try directing your question to them?

"but there are lot of like moulding leaves , black spot , every tree not looks healthy."

This sounds a lot like a high humidity, low air flow problem causing the problems.
The biotic-soultions treatments will help but this will not necessarily be a cure.
Spend some time observing the flow of winds on your land, it is probable that this is one of the main culprits.
To help the plants and trees grow strong and be able to fend off diseases, seaweed and whole sea salt (sea salt that is left by sea water evaporation with no refinement) will go a long way to providing the plants minerals that they need. These amendments along with a treatment with the biotic product will quickly build resistance in your trees and plants and should stave off the crippling effects of the molds and mildew. You may need to do some judicious pruning to get better air circulation for your land as well. Start with one thing and add the others one at a time till you arrive at the complete solution. I would start with the air flow, molds and mildew love stagnated air, it allows them to thrive.

Thank you very much for the answer.
We will try seaweed and sea salt because here in Bali....
But we have a lot of air flow just in rainy season is high humid, and over growing elephant glass is cleaning now,
we think that is one of the reason also.

    we try our best
    Thank you
