Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! I think the header graphic should resemble a generic back yard( perhaps leading to the rest of the world) as this is our home page.the grass is really un cool ,mulch or water would be more suitable.thanks for your work Murray.
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! How about a wriggling mass of worms? or some buzzing bees on honey comb? mmmmmmm honnnneyyy comb.
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Thanks Murray, It`s so good to have this site back again. I missed it and I don`t care how it looks, just that its functioning. Thanks again lovingmygarden
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Hi all, I went to the user control panel and re-entered the link to my avatar ... it works now! For the procedure to upload pics, including avatars, see here (second post): https://forums.permaculture.org.au/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12656 Thanks again Murray!
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Too difficult to tile any image like that from a design point of view, besides, what would be the point when it's only 15px wide? Anyway, looks good. Just a little nitpick, the grey background in the top corners could be made transparent for a nicer rounded effect
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Perhaps, since this is a members forum, we could get all senior members (or who have made "xxx" posts) submit a picture of their own (or section of) permie pad. We could tile these images and use them as a header ?
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Thanks for the widening Murray. I know it's a pain having to change things but in this case I think the width enhances the user-friendliness of the site and makes it more 'sticky'. Cheers. The grass bothers me less now it's not so obvious. I think if it's replaced it would need to be something fairly simple otherwise it's going to look like a dog's breakfast ;-) Why do we need a background at all? We didn't have one before. Or we could have a plaint one. I thought murray was talking about the header though.
Re: Someone has been busy...WELL DONE! Murray, The forum changes and tweaking are going brilliantly. Much appreciated. ho-hum
