Hi everyone, I cannot believe at my age I still dont know the name of this material which the large rice sacks are made from???

Do any of you have any tips on reusing them? where are they best suited to be used? grow bags? etc ....

They are about A3 (the paper size) in size, they are 5 kilo sacks, if you stuff them, you can get around 15cm - 20cm in width once full

In the Solomon Islands I have seen them used as the backing to make latch hook rugs using strips of torn up fabric from work out clothes to make the mat. Beautiful work too.

We now have a mini stand alone system to run our fridge with bottom mounted freezer and an extra little chest freezer and even occasionally my lekky beaters, stick blender and possibly the bread maker.
