    Learn how to make a difference in your home, your life and your community on this full 72-hour Permaculture Design Course.

    Visit permaculture gardens, businesses and community ventures which illustrate how permaculture can enrich your garden and your life. See food forests, backyard aquaponics, solar cooking, small animals and grey water systems. You'll meet like-minded people, build links with the local community and get your hands dirty at a permablitz. During the course, you will complete a design for a property of your choice and participate in a group design project.

    Cost: $620 ($600 for members of Permaculture Sydney West). Pay as you go option available.
    Venue: The Secret Garden, UWS Hawkesbury (Richmond), and other venues
    Times and dates: Saturday 9am-6pm, for 10 weeks from 22nd September, 2012.

    Your teacher: Danielle Wheeler is a scientist, writer and community activist. She lives in the Hawkesbury Valley and completed her permaculture training with Lis Bastian and Rosemary Morrow at the Blue Mountains Permaculture Institute. She is a member of Permaculture Sydney West.

    This course is based on The Earthuser's Guide to Permaculture by Rosemary Morrow, and Permaculture: A Designer's Manual by Bill Mollison and is run under the auspices of Permaculture Sydney West and the Blue Mountains Permaculture Institute.
