    Hi all,

I live in south east queensland on 3200m2 with a gentle diagonal slope

Just started getting into permaculture and I can't wait to get my new food forest up and running. I have dug my Swales and have my cover crop planted. Wish I had discovered this wonderful world years ago.

    Hi Sun burn,

I am using inoculated cowpea for the rest of the warm weather and Lupin to carry on through winter.

Do you know if it's possible to plant some veges through the swales while the cover crop is doing it's job? wouldn't mind putting a few cabbages and melons in.

    Hi and welcome terra.
Make sure you document the changes with photographs. You will love seeing the differences.
Also keep a diary, so you can look back and know what you have done. Initially everyone says "I will remember" but I guarantee you will forget things like dates.
That way you can look back and see what worked and what didn't and make changes accordingly.
