    Hello Everybody.

I was wondering if anyone out there knows if it is safe to feed leaves of rhubarb and warrigal spinach to chooks. I have been feeding the chooks warrigal spinach without any obvious ill effects, but for human consumtion it is recommended that warrigal spinach needs to be blanched before eating, so I want to know if I am killing them slowly. Apperently the problem is that they are high in alkaloids.
The rhubarb is poisonous for us but how about the chooks?
    Thanking you all in advance.

    Regards William
