USEFUL PLANTS OF MONGOLIA: A Permacultural Perspective

Interested in Permaculture? Want to be a Sustainable Overseas Aid & Development Worker? Then join us in contributing to the development of Sustainable Permaculture in Mongolia!

Armed with reliable internet access and a few spare hours, you can participate in an open-sourced, collaborative project conducting detailed research into extreme-cold tolerant plant species. In return, your contribution will be recorded in the published document.

The ‘Useful Plants of Mongolia’ project aims to create a catalogued database of plant species suitable for permaculture in Mongolia’s extreme-cold climate.

Whether you are knowledgeable about cold-tolerant plant species, or you’re keen to learn more, your valuable research will help improve nutrition amongst nomadic herders, discover renewable fuel sources and eventually help reverse the desertification of traditional grazing lands.

Register your interest for voluntarily helping build this database by emailing us at theGreenBackpack [at] gmail [dot] com, and visit our website for more information. https://thegreenbackpack.net/useful-plants-of-mongolia-crowdsourced
