    Hi 4G's
David and myself work together on many things and have been working in the field of permaculture for over 15 years on many different project together.
I can offer the same thing as dave but it is not going to be much cheaper only for my transport as i live in Brisbane.
You are not going to get it at much less of a cost.
I know most of the experienced operators from Noosa to Byron.
You are going to pay between $800 - $1200 a day plus floating (depending on where they come from min $300 each way) and any accommodation that the operator will need.
A days work out there i would say you would not get a lot of change from $3000.
Of course the costings are better over more days as the floating costs are spread out more.
The other option is to have an experienced consultant there to direct a local operator (they would still need to be good).

Good luck if i can help more just let me know.
