I wonder if any readers have experience with the use of pigs for bracken control. There are several examples in Britain documented on the net.
If you find any relevant info on this i would also be keen to hear it. Near where i live bracken is a common weed in moist areas and poorly maintained pasture. From what I've read its mostly the new shoots that are appealing to stock (and also most toxic). But i like the concept of pigs rooting out the fibrous root system of the bracken to stop it regrowing.
