Hi, I have an interest in all things gardening, preserving and cooking. I love learning the old ways of saving seeds, growing heirloom vegetables and creating food from scratch wherever i can.

I am looking forward to talking with like minded people.

Thanks. They are my hubby's handwork as I can't do too much physical, just the planting. Last year we had an abundance of tomatoes and I made lots of sauce and relish. I have planted corn and green tomatoes for the first time this year so hoping for good results.

Looking good! I see tomato, pepper, and ... what's growing in the white tube at the far end of the bed?

Congratulations on the dehydrator! We use ours for everything from onions and herbs to apricots and apples. A truly valuable piece of kit.

Thank you. I plan on dehydrating our tomatoes and apples as well I also have peaches on the tree but they are a bit deformed this year so most of those will be dehydrated and I cant wait for my fig tree to start producing. :)

Slow harvest this year. I am getting lots of snow peas now and the tomatoes are just starting to get ripe. :)
