    Default Vertical Technniques

Hi all! My name is Will and I am from Milwaukee, WI, USA. I am a certified arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. I am new to permaculture, but I have already made the tree/agriculture connection. I am interested in sustainable tree care. I am interested in how humans and trees interact. I fascinated by the interconnectedness of all things. I have a business doing tree work and I am promoting the value of trees and shrubs and the materials that they produce. My focus, beyond business, is doing what I can to bring it to the attention of the client that the plants are a resource and not a liability. I help people understand the value of their resources and that the cost of the care of their resources does relate to the cost of fuel. I encourage my clients to reintegrate the material that the trees produce into the landscape. My experience is that the worms love my approach and that leads to a nice garden! Check out my urban gardening blog here: I am currently blogging about a client's hugelkultur. Here is a link http://verticalurbangardener.blogspot.com. I believe that unless we can do it sustainably, we should not be in business. I am not a shameless self-promoter. I love people and I love how normal people can interact and learn to solve the problems of our times. I appreciate your comments, and thanks for the warm welcome.
